CompuServe is asking customers who use third party email clients to update their mail settings. This will help ensure that all customers have a secure connection to protect the privacy and security of their accounts.

Why do I need to change my email settings? I’m not experiencing any problems.

CompuServe strives to provide the highest level of security to protect your account and email communications. On November 7, 2017 we will no longer allow access to mail using settings that are less secure than those we provide here.
